Author Marcia Zubradt-Cheevers was born and raised in Northwest
Iowa. She has worked as a hairdresser for 42 years, though she would
rather be on the golf course than in a kitchen. She lives in Spencer,
Iowa, with her husband Digger, and has one son, a daughter-in-law, and
three amazing grandchildren!

In
1992 Marcia Zubradt-Cheevers found the path to Jesus. Not long after
that, at the altar during Christmas service, the Lord told her she
would write. Her first reaction was one of disbelief. She’d never
imagined herself as a writer! But she accepted with faith her life’s
calling. With a desire to help God’s people understand His word and
experience victorious living through Him, she began posting
inspirational passages on Facebook. As her daily posts gained a wide
and appreciative readership, Marcia realized the time had come to
put those posts into book format. From that first planted seed of an
idea grew her first book, Marcia’s Life Application Bible.
She writes from her daily experiences, beautifully interweaving the
ordinary things of life with extraordinary revelations from God, and
considers it a privilege to share the love of Jesus through these
pages, as well as at her well-attended J.O.Y. Seminars.
